Meet Fanaye Seifu, Your Empath Physiotherapist

Hi there! I’m Fanaye Seifu, a passionate physiotherapist dedicated to helping people in Melbourne achieve their movement goals and live pain-free lives. Originally from New Zealand, I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) from Auckland University of Technology.

My background includes extensive experience in sports physiotherapy, having worked with premier Rugby and Rugby League teams in Auckland.

I’m skilled in treating various sports injuries and also have experience in concussion rehabilitation. Since moving to Melbourne in 2021, I’ve expanded my practice to encompass post-operative rehabilitation for knee, hip, and shoulder conditions.

I work in both private practice and community settings, ensuring I can cater to a wide range of patients’ needs. I’m always looking to enhance my skills, and I’m currently pursuing studies in women’s health physiotherapy to better assist patients with female-specific conditions.

When I’m not helping patients move better, you can find me exploring Melbourne’s beautiful hiking trails or indulging in its diverse culinary scene
